Laptop Magazine’s Joanna Stern has posted a mini-review of the Gigabyte M912, the only netbook model currently to feature a touch screen. Major points:
- 3 pounds- slightly heaver than most other netbook models.
- All the usual ports, plus an express card slot for mobile broadband.
- Touchpad buttons are below the touchpad and are easy to click.
- Display is bright but a bit washed out.
- It runs Vista, which took about a minute and a half to load up.
- Keyboard gets hot.
